The Australian Centre for Geomechanics, The University of Western Australia applies restrictions on recording the presentations of the Is the Future Filtered? Paste and Thickened Tailings Hybrid Course being held 20 September 2021.  All unauthorised audio recording, video recording and photography or transmission of the ACG online event material, data or information is expressly prohibited.

The online presentations will not be recorded and transcripts of question and answer sessions will not be made available post-event.

 

System Requirements

The online version of this event will be hosted on the Good Education platform, which utilises Zoom. Please check prior to the course you have access to Zoom and advise the ACG if you do not have access.

We encourage you to join the session 15 minutes early to enable adequate time to resolve potential technical issues with streaming prior to the course commencement.

Onsite registration will be available on the morning of the event, in the Southern Cross Lobby of the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle.

Once connected to Rydges-EVENT, please open a new browser and you will be re-directed to a login page, please type ‘event‘ as your Username, and then enter your Access Code ‘Paste2021‘. Each user is required to enter the Access Code.

Car Parking

For conference delegates, self parking is available at Drivo Carpark on Essex Street for the rate of $20 per day. This is an auto-plate recognition system where exits don’t open until payment is complete. Payment can be completed via QR code onsite or on departure (please note, this is a cashless payment system), overstay fees may apply.

Wilson Parking located at 56 Marine Terrace (positioned between Esplanade Park and the Italian Club) offers a daily rate of $12.50.

Secure Collie street car park is a multi story, undercover facility located on Collie Street, behind the Esplanade Hotel. For delegates, parking at this facility is starting from $4.00/hr & $22.00 a day (5+ hrs)*. Overnight surcharges apply. Cheaper rates available online.
*please note Collie Street carpark is a third-party service provider with its own schedule of fees. If vehicles are left overnight, or for multiple days, additional overnight charges would apply.
